Simone joined the Ardian Infrastructure Team in Milan in 2022. He has had strong links with Ardian Infrastructure since 2017 given its previous role as operating partners specialized in Renewables. Simone has over 20 years of experience in power generation and renewables, with extensive knowledge of business operations from development to execution. At Ardian, Simone brings a robust support to the Asset Management team and especially oversees the asset managament of ACEEF. Previously, he held numerous C-positions in renewables related companies (ex-CEO of San Marco Bioenergie and Agritre), and managed the 3New and 4New RES Ardian portfolios operating in solar, wind, hydroelectric and biomass in Italy and Spain. He was also CEO of EMS, the Ardian's Italian RES platform. He graduated from Università degli Studi di Padova in Mechanical Engineering and holds a MBA from SDA Bocconi. Simone’s mother tongue is Italian and he speaks fluent English.
