Philippe Aghion is a Professor at the College de France and at INSEAD, and a visiting professor at the London School of Economics and a fellow of the Econometric Society and of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
His research focuses on the economics of growth. With Peter Howitt, he pioneered the so-called Schumpeterian Growth paradigm which was subsequently used to analyze the design of growth policies and the role of the state in the growth process.
Much of this work is summarized in their joint book Endogenous Growth Theory (MIT Press, 1998) and The Economics of Growth (MIT Press, 2009), in his book with Rachel Griffith on Competition and Growth (MIT Press, 2006), and in his survey “What Do We Learn from Schumpeterian Growth Theory” (joint with U. Akcigit and P. Howitt).
In 2001, Philippe Aghion received the Yrjo Jahnsson Award of the best European economist under age 45, in 2009 he received the John Von Neumann Award, and in March 2020 he shared the BBVA “Frontier of Knowledge Award” with Peter Howitt for “developing an economic growth theory based on the innovation that emerges from the process of creative destruction”.
More recently Philippe Aghion produced a new book entitled The Power of Creative destruction (Odile Jacob, Harvard University Press) joint with C. Antonin et S. Bunel. While providing a reappraisal of the foundations of economic success and a blueprint for change, The Power of Creative Destruction also shows that a fair and prosperous future is ultimately ours to make.

Vincent Luciani is a French entrepreneur born in 1985 in Paris and currently serves as the CEO of Artefact, a company specializing in artificial intelligence technologies. Graduated from École Polytechnique and HEC Paris, he began his career at McKinsey & Co, where he worked in the aerospace and industrial sectors.
In 2014, he co-founded Artefact alongside Guillaume de Roquemaurel and Philippe Rolet. Under his leadership, Artefact has grown into a global leader in data and artificial intelligence. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the company now employs 1,500 people across 27 offices worldwide, spanning all continents.
In 2021, Vincent Luciani launched the 'School of Data' to train individuals in data-related professions. He is also an investor in several artificial intelligence companies and frequently participates in conferences and events to share his expertise.

Máté Tóth, Ph.D., is a Director at BlackRock and, among others, leads the Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) research team for improving conversational AI accuracy. He also worked as a lead data scientist on the BlackRock Text Analytics Platform. Máté graduated from INSA de Lyon with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and obtained a Ph.D. from the University of the Basque Country in 2017 where he worked on computational models for speech perception.

Frister Haveman founded Gain.pro in 2018. Today, he leads the company as CEO with a mission to build it out into a global market leader. Prior to Gain.pro, Frister spent his career in consulting and private equity with Bain, Gilde and Bridgepoint. He combines this experience with a deep passion for technology. Frister lived and worked predominantly in Amsterdam, Munich and London.

He holds a master's degree in Finance from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Claire Calmejane draws on extensive international leadership experience across the US, UK, Netherlands, and France. As Group Chief Innovation Officer at Societe Generale, she spearheaded AI initiatives aiming to deliver €500 million by 2025, increased digital sales from 3% to 30%, and founded SG Ventures with a €400 million investment focus. At Lloyds Banking Group, she laid the groundwork for online banking, initiated the LBG Innovation Labs and led risk transformation. A staunch advocate for diversity in STEM, Claire supports women in tech through mentoring and investments at LEIA Capital. She holds an IT engineering degree from EPITA and a master’s from HEC, supplemented by research at MIT. She is the founder of CAILEG a PE advisory and investment firm.

Riaan Potgieter is a member of StepStone’s infrastructure and real assets team where he leads Responsible Investment and is involved in asset management for European assets. He is also on the StepStone Group Responsible Investment Committee.

Prior to joining StepStone, Mr. Potgieter was a director in KPMG’s Strategy Group, where he led projects with both infrastructure assets and investors. He was also worked in KPMG’s African Infrastructure M&A team where he supported investors to develop and finance projects across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Pauline Thomson is Board member of Wintics in France, Mila in Iceland and Verne in the UK.
Pauline joined Ardian in 2011. Previously, Pauline completed various internships at AXA Private Equity in Paris and Terrafirma Capital Partners Ltd. in London.

Andrea Andorno is CEO of SAGAT S.p.A. (Torino Airport) since 2019 and Chair of the ACI EUROPE’s Regional Airports’ Forum, a platform for regional airports to exchange knowledge and share best practice.

Andrea acquired extensive experience in the aviation sector and transportation industry over the years, having played executive roles first within airlines, then within airports. Between 2013 and 2018 he was Chief Commercial Officer of Meridiana/Air Italy. Before, between 2003 and 2012, he covered managerial roles in Alitalia Group, where he was Vice President Finance and Director Network & Fleet Planning.

Andrea began his career in 1998 at KPMG, as executive consultant in the Corporate Finance Division, leading projects related to the transport industry (Alitalia, National Italian Railways). He graduated in Business and Economics at the University of Genoa and specialized in Finance and Accounting at New York University.

Marco Di Dio Roccazzella is a Shareholder and a Managing Director at Jakala, where he has a dual role as the Global Strategy, Data & AI Leader and the Global Retail & Consumer Market Leader.
He also leads the division at Jakala that supports the Private Equity’s Asset Development universe. He has more than thirty years of international experience, supporting companies in defining their Strategic Plan, and implementing Sales, Marketing, Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence plans.
He advises numerous Private Equity firms, in both the due diligence phase and in the unfolding of the full potential of their portfolio companies. He has authored academic and general interest publications on Strategy, Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Artificial Intelligence and Technology.
A lover of innovation, he is an entrepreneur, and an Advisory Board Member in numerous companies. He is a lecturer in several Italian and international Universities and Masters’ programs.

Guillaume Liegey is co-founder and CEO of Explain, a startup pioneering the application of artificial intelligence to public procurement, a sector that accounts for 12% of the global economy.

Previously, he co-founded Liegey Muller Pons (LMP), Europe's leading startup in electoral targeting technologies. He began his career with Veolia before joining the McKinsey strategy consultancy in France and then the United States, where he worked for major industrial and infrastructure groups, as well as governments.
Guillaume is a graduate of HEC and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

He is a member of the French-American Foundation's Young Leaders class of 2017.

As Chief Technology & CyberSecurity Officer, Philippe Limantour's main mission is to lead Microsoft's strategy in France in terms of innovative technologies and cyber security.

Working closely with the General Management and the various entities concerned, he represents Microsoft France on the technological level with the main government officials and major government agencies, IT departments, standardization committees and the world of education and research. He is also in close contact with Microsoft Corporation, Microsoft Research and the various product groups.

Philippe was previously Chief Innovation Officer at EY, responsible for artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud and global Data Fabric platform offering, including ESG projects.

Philippe holds an engineering degree from ESIEA and two master's degrees (science & executive coaching). He has a PhD in mathematics and AI from Normale Sup Ulm.

Dr. Fanjuan Shi is a seasoned technology executive with over 18 years of experience leading transformative strategies and projects.
As the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO) at Prosol, he drives the development of innovative tech solutions that fuel business growth and operational excellence.
Prior to Prosol, Dr. Shi served as CDAO at Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs, where he leveraged marketing technology and data to significantly enhance the ROAS of e-commerce media.
He then took on the role of Global Head of Data Value Office at LVMH, where he helped luxury brands implemented data-driven strategies across, optimizing business performance and elevating the customer experience.
Dr. Shi holds a PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in deep learning. His expertise uniquely positions him at the intersection of advanced technology and strategic business application.
In addition to his executive roles, he actively contributes to the fields of information technology, data analytics, and artificial intelligence through teaching and research in universities.

Marion Calcine is Chief Investment Officer at Ardian Infrastructure and Member of the Ardian France Executive Board.
As CIO she supervises investment processes for Ardian Infrastructure Funds in Europe and in the Americas. She participated to a number of transactions on behalf of Ardian (Indigo car parks in France, Ascendi motorways in Portugal, London Luton Airports, and more than 500MW of renewable assets in Italy). She is or was on the board of 3New, 4New, 2i Rete Gas, Trados M45, Mila.
Marion also leads digital project Opta, which aims at optimizing operational performance and minimizing merchant risk of a 2GW portfolio.

Clément Marty has been with Ardian for 5 years. He is supporting portfolio companies in their Digital and Data acceleration, on both strategic and operational levels. Prior to Ardian, he spent 10 years with Carrefour, where he started as Group Strategy Director, before holding various Digital Transformation positions at HQ and BU level. Graduated from HEC, he started his career as a strategy consultant and spent 10 years with McKinsey & Company, serving global High Tech clients. He is married with two daughters.

Quentin Barenne is a French entrepreneur, co-founder and Managing Director of Wintics, a company specializing in AI-powered video analysis to improve urban mobility and safety of public places. Founded in 2017, Wintics uses AI to transform ordinary cameras into monitoring tools in order to support bold initiatives for creating safer, more sustainable, and more comfortable cities and transportation hubs.

Before creating Wintics, Quentin Barenne worked at Accuracy, a consulting firm specializing in finance and big data. With Wintics, he now focuses on innovative solutions that aim to make cities and transportation hubs smarter and more sustainable, by reducing congestion and waiting time, promoting soft mobility (such as cycling and walking), and improving security. Quentin Barenne is also a strong advocate of the development of an AI both frugal and ethical.

Christophe is a seasoned executive with a 30-year experience in technology.
From 1999 to 2009, Christophe was a senior executive at NXP Semiconductors, holding various roles in sales, marketing and business management. From 2006 to 2009, he was senior vice president and general manager of the Identification business of NXP.
From 2010 to 2020, Christophe was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Linxens, a global leader in the manufacture of smart card components. Under Christophe’s leadership, the group grew from 150m€ in revenues to 500m€, through a mix of organic growth and acquisitions.
Christophe recently cofounded Silian Partners, with 4 other partners from the semiconductors industry, an advisory company working in partnership with Ardian on investments in the semiconductor industry.

Marco Trombetti is a computer scientist, entrepreneur, and investor. In 1999, he co-founded Translated, a pioneer and leader in the use of AI in the translation industry.
In 2007, Marco established Pi Campus, a venture capital firm that invests in startups in their early stages, and Pi School, an innovative educational institution that aims to develop a new class of AI specialists.

Dominic Ward is CEO of Verne, which delivers sustainable data center solutions that enable organisations to cost-effectively scale their digital infrastructure while reducing their environmental impact. The company’s four Nordic data centers – located in Iceland and Finland – are all powered by predictably-priced, 100% renewable energy and are engineered for high intensity workloads, while its hyper-connected central London data center is the optimal location for latency and connectivity sensitive applications.
Dominic is a highly experienced technology and infrastructure executive. Prior to joining Verne, he ran direct investments at the Wellcome Trust, one of the company's previous shareholders. He began his career at Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance and later co-founded Lepe Partners, a technology investment and advisory firm.

Lise Fauconnier joined Ardian in 1998. She began her career at Clinvest, the investment banking subsidiary of Crédit Lyonnais, with responsibility for Mergers & Acquisitions, restructuring and portfolio management. She was appointed Investment Manager at EURIS.

Jonas Corné co-founded Greenbyte in 2010 and was its CEO until exit in 2021. Greenbyte was a world leader in asset management and analytics software for wind and solar with more than 50 GWs under management at time of exit to Power Factors. Following the exit, Jonas led strategy and M&A at Power Factors, working closely with Vista Equity Partners. Under Jonas’ lead Power Factors acquired Inaccess – the market leader in controls and automation for utility scale the solar PV. Prior to Greenbyte, Jonas ran a software consultancy company in Gothenburg Sweden. Jonas has a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology with further studies at ETH in Zürich and Stanford University.
Jonas is now an Operating Partner to Ardian Infrastructure advising on matters related to digitalization.
