Mathias Burghardt is Head of the Infrastructure activity and responsible for Ardian technological development.

Mathias joined Ardian in 2007. Previously, he joined Ardian (as AXA Group) to set up and head its Infrastructure investment business. Prior to this, he was Head of HSBC Advisory and Project Financing in France. Mathias started his career in 1989 with Credit Lyonnais in Media Telecom. He has developed extensive relationships with European infrastructure industrial and financial sponsors, public authorities and regulators. Mathias has over 25 years of experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors globally.

Jonas co-founded Greenbyte in 2010 and was its CEO until exit in 2021. Greenbyte was a world leader in asset management and analytics software for wind and solar with more than 50 GWs under management at time of exit to Power Factors. Following the exit, Jonas led strategy and M&A at Power Factors, working closely with Vista Equity Partners. Under Jonas’ lead Power Factors acquired Inaccess – the market leader in controls and automation for utility scale the solar PV. Prior to Greenbyte, Jonas ran a software consultancy company in Gothenburg Sweden. Jonas has a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology with further studies at ETH in Zürich and Stanford University.
Jonas is now an Operating Partner to Ardian Infrastructure advising on matters related to digitalization.

Marion Calcine is Chief Investment Officer at Ardian Infrastructure. Marion is a board member of portfolio companies 3NEW, 4NEW, 2i Rete Gas. She is responsible for Chrysalis portfolio, large pan-European portfolio of diversified infrastructure assets, including participations in gas distribution 2i Rete Gas, roads Trados M45 and Alicorne, renewable assets Kallista and 3New&Partners, high-speed rail Lisea. In addition to investing activities, Marion heads the Infrastructure Analysis Team, which is responsible for delivering best practices and value enhancements in each phase of a transaction.
Marion joined Ardian in 2007 as an Analyst within the Infrastructure team in Paris.

Simone joined the Ardian Infrastructure Team in Milan in 2022. He has had strong links with Ardian Infrastructure since 2017 given its previous role as operating partners specialized in Renewables. Simone has over 20 years of experience in power generation and renewables, with extensive knowledge of business operations from development to execution. At Ardian, Simone brings a robust support to the Asset Management team and especially oversees the asset managament of ACEEF. Previously, he held numerous C-positions in renewables related companies (ex-CEO of San Marco Bioenergie and Agritre), and managed the 3New and 4New RES Ardian portfolios operating in solar, wind, hydroelectric and biomass in Italy and Spain. He was also CEO of EMS, the Ardian's Italian RES platform. He graduated from Università degli Studi di Padova in Mechanical Engineering and holds a MBA from SDA Bocconi. Simone’s mother tongue is Italian and he speaks fluent English.

Skander joined Ardian in 2021 as an Analyst – Data Scientist within the Infrastructure Team in Paris following an internship. Skander is a member of Ardian Infrastructure Digital and Data Science Team. Prior to joining Ardian, Skander completed internships as a data scientist at Air France – KLM in the Operations Research department and in investment banking both at Citi and Société Générale.

Marco joined Ardian in 2021 as an Analyst within the Infrastructure team in Milan. Prior to joining Ardian, Marco spent one year at J.P. Morgan in the Investment Banking Division in London, covering the Energy sector. Previously, he completed various internships, notably at Ardian (Infrastructure Private Equity), J.P. Morgan (Investment Banking) and HSBC (M&A Advisory).

Santiago Varela Ullastres is the founder and CEO of AGR-AM.
In the past he opperated as Independent Senior Advisor, Independent Board Member (President) for UBS Asset Management in Autovia del Camino. He led the Oak Hill Car Park platform acquisition and selling process to Parkia. He also operated as an Independent Board member for Inypsa & Airticial and he is the former CEO of Isolux Infrastructure & GICC.
Santiago Varela Ullastres holds a Master in Energy Business form ICADE and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Marc Oman is a Principal within Google's global data center deployment and energy strategy team. He is part of the business team leading Google’s goal to achieve carbon-free energy sourcing in every hour (24/7) in every grid by 2030. Marc leads Google’s energy strategy in new Gloogle Cloud markets globally, focusing on decarbonization opportunities and partnerships with data center colocation service providers.
Since joining Google in 2015 Marc directly led the closing of nearly 2 GW of corporate Power Purchase Agreements (“PPAs”) for solar PV, onshore and offshore wind PPAs across 9 European countries. He structured the first hourly carbon-free energy utility supply contract in Europe and organized the provision of grid services contract by Google’s first battery system in Belgium. In his career Marc has managed a range of infrastructure projects, including delivery of build-to-suit data center capacity, and the provision of grid energy services from Google-owned batteries.
Marc Oman has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a dual French-American citizen and lives in Paris, France.

Stefan Dohler is CEO and Member of the Board of Management of EWE Group since January 2018.
He is also Member of the Board of the German Association of Energy and Water Industries (BDEW).
In the past he occupied the positions of Chief Financial Officer of Vattenfall AB, SVP Markets and Member of Executive Management Team at Vattenfall AB, VP Finance, Generation Department at Vattenfall AB, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Vattenfall Europe AG, various management positions in Vattenfall Distribution and Transmission, Director Distribution at BEWAG AG & CO. KG und HEW AG and various management positions at HEW.
Stefan Dohler holds a Master of Science (Dipl.-Ing) in aviation and aerospace technology, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Sylvie Tarnai is heading the Strategy of Energy Pool since 2022. Energy Pool has been a pioneer of Demand-side management on the French market since 2009 and enlarged its scope of activities to become a worldwide Smart Energy Manager of Complex Systems from strategy to operations. She has an experience of over 11 years on the power markets working in business development and strategy positions for EPEX SPOT, the spot Power Exchange. She holds MSc degrees in Political Science, International business and Energy Economics from WW Universität Münster in Germany, Sciences Po Lille and Université Paris-Dauphine in France.

Alexandre Cosquer oversees Gas & Power Trading and is responsible for GEMS digital development.

Alexandre has over 20 years experience in energy, trading, and risk management, having held several positions in the banking and energy sectors. He is passionate about technology/data and how it can help accelerate energy transition. Alexandre holds a M.Sc. of Ecole Polytechnique (France) and a M.Sc of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA).

Dr. Fabien Roques is an Executive Vice President in Compass Lexecon’s Paris office and the Head of the European Energy practice. Fabien is an economist with deep expertise of the energy and utilities sectors.
Fabien’s expertise spans a range of commercial, regulatory, competition, and litigation issues. Over the past 20 years, Fabien has worked on numerous assignments for clients including regulators, utilities, project developers, and financial investors.
Previously Fabien has held positions with the International Energy Agency and with the energy consultancy IHS Cambridge Energy Associates, where he led the European power, gas and renewables team. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an M.Sc. in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Lyon.
Fabien is also an Associate Professor in economics at the Florence School of Regulation and University Paris Dauphine. He has authored numerous publications on the utilities industry and related regulatory issues in both practitioners and academic journals.

After graduating from ESSEC business school, Marc Benayoun began his career with BNP Paribas in 1989, followed by the Boston Consulting Group in 1993.
In 2009, he joined the EDF Group as Director of Economics, Tariffs and Prices in the Commercial Division. In 2012, he became Head of the Corporate Market. In 2016, he was appointed Group Executive Director in charge of Italy and the Gas Division, and became CEO of Edison, Italy's third-largest energy company. He is still currently Chairman of the Board of Edison and in charge of the Gas Division for the EDF Group.
Since July 2019, Marc Benayoun has been Executive Vice President in charge of the Customers, Services & Territories Division.

Laurent Schmitt has founded Digital4Grids early January 2021 developing new generation multisided cloud-edge computing platforms for residential energy and flexibility management. He has been working for the last 25 years through the Automation, IT and Digitisation of the Power Industry. Before creating Digital4Grids, he was the Secretary General of ENTSO-E for the past 4 years and Global Smart Grid Strategy Leader at General Electric Grid Solutions.
Laurent worked in Europe, the United States and Asia, on all sectors of the electricity value chain from power generation controls, intro trading and market, Grid management as well as DER integration and Microgrid community.

Laurent has led several strategic industry committees and is now the Chair of the Digital Committee of SmartEn (the European association for Demand Side Flexibility) and represents SolarPowerEurope through the drafting of the new flexibility code. He has also been selected as covenor of the working group 21 of the IEC Technical Committee 57 working on data exchange standards between Grid operators and Behind the Meter Distributed Energy assets.
Laurent is French national, strong believer in the need to accelerate the Energy System transformation towards Prosumers to reach netzero ambitions by 2050.
He graduated in Power System Engineering from Supélec in Paris and holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD, France.

Civil engineer (Ecole Centrale de Lyon and Ecole Centrale de Nantes), Arnaud Dietrich began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 2013, he joined Capgemini as Deputy Group consolidation manager.
In 2016, he joined the French transport regulatory authority (ART) where he held several positions within the transport financial regulation department. He is notably in charge of airport regulation and deputy director of transport financial regulation.
Since May 15, 2023, he has been appointed as Director of economic and financial affairs at CRE. On September 1, 2023, the CRE's foresight and innovation department joined its management.

Civil engineer (Ecole Polytechnique de Bruxelles), Philippe Houins began his career at L'Oréal. He then joined the Casino Group in early 2008 as Projects Manager at Immobilière Groupe Casino to develop GreenYellow as a co-founder of the company.
